Picture one - switch off
Box one turns off when Pi starts.
pi --no-builtin-toolsThis is an ordinary startup switch. It is not a permanent lock.
Picture two - extension hand
The pi-goal extension turns tools on again.
It adds the read tool, bash, edit, and write back to the active list. That is why the real read call succeeded in the Hands-on session.
Picture three - locked toolbox
--no-tools locks the model's toolbox.
pi --no-toolsAn extension program may still run, but it cannot make tools available to the model through this lock.
